FIGHT THE MICROBE SUSTAINABLY
Germs are a growing threat in health care settings. New outbreaks of infection emerge as the resistance of the germs increases, increasing the measures of sanitary precautions. Although science has made tremendous progress over the last century, in the fight against infections by improving the effectiveness of disinfectants, we are now facing new challenges. Most of the active chemicals offered by disinfectant manufacturers to fight germs are causing environmental damage that threatens our health and our planet. Government organizations and scientists are trying to steer the industry towards new eco-solutions that are more respectful of our health and our environment.VOC for each disinfectant containing Volatile Organic Compounds. While we leave to future generations a polluted world and resistant germs, Saniswiss has set itself the task of responding to these new challenges since 2006. By developing innovative technologies, we are actively participating in this improvement by offering modern alternatives, respectful of the environment and health without creating new resistance to germs. Think also of future generations by opting for Saniswiss high-tech products.
EFFICACY OF SANISWISS PRODUCTS AGAINST COVID-19
Covid-19 is an enveloped virus that belongs to the Coronaviruses group. Coronaviruses can cause respiratory infections in mammals and birds, going from common colds to pneumonia and bronchitis. Coronaviruses have the particularity to cause both upper (nasal cavity, pharynx, larynx) and lower (lungs) respiratory tract infections. They can be transmitted from human to human when there is a close contact via droplets when sneezing and coughing. Those droplets can reach the nasal cavity, the mouth or directly the lungs at a distance of 1.8 m.
Infected people can be contagious during the viral incubation period, even if they are asymptomatic, and they become more contagious when symptoms start to appear. Transmission through inanimate objects was not proven yet but is maybe possible.
The main recommendation from the CDC, the WHO, and other important organisms is to use an alcohol-based hand-rub or hand-wash for at least 20 seconds, more importantly after going to the bathroom, before eating, before touching your face. Concerning frequently touched objects, it is recommended to wash and disinfect them regularly.
