WHAT IS THYMOSEPTIN (COATED TABLETS) AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR?

Thymoseptine is used in cases of productive cough associated with cooling.

Thymoseptine is a traditional herbal medicine. Its use is reserved for indications specified solely on the basis of age of use.

This medicine is indicated in adults and children from 12 years.

What Thymoseptine contains

The active substance is the dry extract of leaves and flowers of thyme (Thymus vulgaris L.). Each tablet contains 200 mg of thyme extract, which corresponds to 1.2 g – 2.0 g of thyme. Extraction Solvent: Ethanol 70% V / V.

The other components are:

Tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, sodium carboxymethyl starch, magnesium stearate, anhydrous colloidal silica.

Tablet lamination: polydextrose, hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E171), medium chain triglycerides, yellow aluminum quinoline lake (E104), brilliant blue aluminum lake FCF (E133).

Excipient used in the extract: maltodextrin.

HOW TO TAKE THYMOSEPTINE?

The recommended dose is 1 tablet 3 times daily.

The tablets are swallowed with a large glass of water.

Do not take this medicine for more than a week without medical advice, if symptoms persist or if fever develops.

HOW TO STORE THYMOSEPTINE?

Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton after “EXP”. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.

Store Thymoseptine in the original package.

This medication does not require special storage precautions regarding temperature.
