WHAT IS THYMOSEPTINE SYRUP AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR?
Thymoseptine is used as an expectorant in case of cough associated with cooling.
This product is a traditional herbal medicine, for use in the specified indication, based exclusively on long-standing use.
This medicine is indicated in adults and children from 2 years.
You should talk to your doctor if you do not feel better or feel worse after 7 days.
HOW TO TAKE THYMOSEPTINE SYRUP?
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if in doubt.
The recommended doses are as follows:
Adults and adolescents over 12 years: 15 ml (1 tablespoon), maximum 4 times daily.
Children from 7 years: 10 ml (2 teaspoonfuls), maximum 4 times a day.
Children from 2 years: 5 ml (1 teaspoonful), maximum 4 times a day.
Be sure to observe an interval of at least 4 hours between each shot.
Take Thymoseptine preferably after meals.
For exact dosing, always use the graduated measuring cup contained in the package.
HOW TO STORE THYMOSEPTINE SYRUP?
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton after “EXP”. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
This medicine does not require any special storage precautions.

What Thymoseptine contains
The active substance is the fluid extract (1: 1) of thyme leaves and flowers (Thymus vulgaris L.). 5 ml of syrup contains 750 mg of thyme extract.
Extraction solvent: ethanol 22% V / V.
The other ingredients are sucrose, glycerol, ethanol and purified water.

Clear brown solution, sweet and aromatic taste.
Thymoseptine is available in 150 ml brown glass bottles.
